The Hipnecks!

Our fellow 1Ler Chris McKinney would like to throw this out for everyone:

They are the Hipnecks. They have been playing football game nights at Shiloh. They are popular locally, and very fun.

Some of the proceeds go to AIDS reasearch. There is a cover band, and the main act will probably take the stage 9:30-10:00. 6$ cover - should be a good late night activity... if you are someone who likes whiskey or beer.

We finally have new pictures posted from the Happy Hour at the Bistro two weeks ago, courtesy of Ms. Wieman. Many thanks to her for getting those to us. Section 2 has a midterm on Friday...and you know what that means...

We'll keep it simple and go Happy Hour-ing at Big12/Campus/Whatever its called...

Word from the grapevine says that section 2 may be starting early... More details to follow.

Prom Rugby

Since everyone will be in the neighborhood anyway...

If anyone is in the mood for some pre-game violence, the Mizzou women's rugby team will be playing at 11:00 at Epple field (behind the tennis dome, just south of the parking lot).

Saturday is prom rugby, which means all the girls will be playing rugby in beautiful dresses...until they get ripped off!

SBA Homecoming Tailgate

IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT! READ THE BELOW MESSAGE IMMEDIATELY!

What: SBA Homecoming tailgate

- Don’t let the SBA thing throw you, this tailgate is actually going to be cool! Why you ask, because they’ve put the 1L’s in charge, and there “aint no party like a 1L party ‘cause a 1L party don’t stop!”

When: Saturday the 15th from 10:00am to whenever.

- for the truly hard core, there will be a “breakfast club” contingent showing up at 5:30am to secure a spot. We will have breakfast burritos, bloody mary’s, and mimosa’s. All the cool kids are doing it!

Where: NOT TURNER GARAGE!

- We will be in Reactor Parking lot off of Providence. The plan is to set up in the NE corner of the lot, it the corner per se is not available, we will be as close to the corner as possible while remaining in the NE quadrant of the lot.

Why: FREE FOOD AND BEER

- There will be FREE kegs, burgers, brats, chips, etc. starting at 10:00am. Remember those mandatory dues we paid at the beginning of the year? Here’s your chance to eat and drink your $40 back. Please don’t miss out on this opportunity. For every person who doesn’t show, another person has to eat and drink $80 worth, and that could get ugly!
