Pictures

It has come to our attention that blogger won't let us upload as many pictures as we would like. As a result, we're setting up a Yahoo photo account with which we may compile the photos from what will hopefully be many social outings. If you have pictures that you would like to add to the site, simply email them to umclaw1l@yahoo.com. We'll get them up as soon as possible. Try to keep them clean (no porn, extreme gore, or pictures of Beckett choking on his own vomit, please). Otherwise, send away, and we'll hope to see everyone on Friday!

Oktoberfest Fever

Ok...not much response to Hermann Oktoberfest. What if we changed the venue to the local winery of Les Bourgeois in Rocheport, just 20 miles west of Columbia...?
Either the 8th after the contracts midterm, or the 1st on Family Day?

We Have Liftoff

This is the official launch of the social blogspot for the class of 2008. Please note: for academic/intellectual/educational info and postings, you should check out www.umclaw.com. For respite from the daily grind, you're at the right spot. The plan is to use this as a clearinghouse for information about upcoming social events, guaging interest in different social outings, and sharing photos/comments/stories about past gatherings. Any suggestions can be posted as comments or emailed.

For our first event, we're going to name this blog. Leave your suggestion and name on the comments section. The "winner" will get a free case of beer. We will announce the best blog title at the happy hour on Friday (Sept 16).

Which brings us to our next announcement... This Friday (Sept 16) is happy hour at 5:00 on Harpo's upper deck (Cherry and 10th) for the post torts mid-term for Section 1 students. (Section 2 students should come, as well.)
